Trump recommends offering separate vaccines for Measles, Mumps, and Rubella
"The MMR, I think should be taken separately."

Trump has said that he is recommending that the MMR vaccine, which stands for measles, mumps, and rubella should be taken separately as different vaccines.

As Trump was making announcement about possible causes of autism being linked to Tylenol taken in pregnancy, he added guidance for vaccines.

"The MMR, I think should be taken separately. This is based on what I feel, the Mumps, Measles and [Rubella]. The three should be taken separately. And it seems to be that when you mix them, there could be a problem. So there's no downside in taking them separately. In fact, they think it's better, so let it be separate. The chicken pox is already separate, because when that got mixed in, I guess they made it four for a while it really was bad. So they make chicken pox individually," Trump said.

During the press conference, Trump also talked about the possible link between taking Tylenol when mothers are pregnant and autism.

The president said that “effective immediately” the FDA is “strongly recommending that women limit Tylenol use during pregnancy unless medically necessary. That's for instance, in cases of extremely high fever that you feel you can't tough it out.”

Robert F Kennedy Jr also spoke at the press conference, where he said that the FDA would help to begin the process to make a safety label change, and encouraged doctors to only have pregnant women take it with limited doses if absolutely necessary.

Kennedy also said that autism may be linked to folate deficiency.

In a delicious twist of irony, CBS— found itself compelled to acknowledge that the Trump administration's claim about Tylenol (acetaminophen) and its potential links to autism and other neurological disorders is TRUE.

Then, in contradictory fashion, she pivots to downplay the revelation by echoing the EXACT SAME GUIDANCE the Trump administration just issued—limit Tylenol to "only when absolutely necessary.

Internal Records show Johnson & Johnson Tylenol Maker Privately Admitted Evidence Was Getting ‘Heavy’ For Autism Risk In 2018, and doctors were warning J&J as early as 2008

• According to the DCNF report, J&J's Janssen division (its pharmaceutical arm) began fielding queries from consumers and doctors about a potential acetaminophen-autism link as early as 2008.

Key highlights from the emails:
- 2008: J&J's Office of Consumer Medical Safety Lead, Andre Mann, received a physician's letter raising concerns. He wrote internally: "Not much choice but to consider this a safety signal that needs to be evaluated."

- 2012: Leslie Shur, head of J&J's post-market drug safety monitoring, got an alert from a worried father about the risks. A colleague flagged it as urgent "in case this goes to press."

- 2018: Rachel Weinstein, U.S. director of epidemiology for Janssen, emailed colleagues: "The weight of the EVIDENCE is starting to feel heavy to me" regarding associations between prenatal acetaminophen use and neurodevelopmental disorders like AUTISM.

These weren't just casual notes—J&J was ACTIVELY MONITORING studies and parent reports but FAILED to publicly disclose them.

The company spun off its consumer health unit (including Tylenol) to Kenvue in 2023, shifting liabilities.

This revelation is fueling lawsuits: A multi-district litigation (MDL) in New Jersey federal court is probing whether manufacturers failed to warn about risks RIGHT NOW.
