New DHS Report found that the Secret Service Assigned a highly inexperienced Agent with only 20 MINUTES of Training to run the counter-drone system— and it FAILED coincidentally during the period Thomas Crooks flew his drone

Just hours before Thomas Crooks opened fire, he flew a drone for nearly 9 minutes — from 3:51 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. — right over the rally site.. during the EXACT period the counter-drone surveillance efforts were down.

Thomas Crooks drone traveled 471 yards from the stage and its camera clearly viewed both the stage where Trump would speak and the AGR building roof where Crooks would later shoot from.

The Secret Service never detected it. Their counter-drone system was broken for hours.

The only person operating it was an under-trained agent from Trump’s own protective detail who had received just 20 minutes of informal training and didn’t even know he was supposed to test the system beforehand.

When the system failed, he couldn’t fix it. Vendor help was slow because it was a weekend.

The system was finally repaired at 4:20 p.m. — after Crooks had already finished his scouting flight — by borrowing a cable from President Trump’s own audiovisual team.

This was a massive missed opportunity to spot the shooter before he even arrived.

NEW DHS Report found the Secret Service “Missed” 102 Critical Police Radio Alerts from Local Law Enforcement Scrambling to find the Armed Gunman on the Roof

Local police were urgently searching for Crooks and had him on their radios for a long time — including when they spotted him with a rangefinder and later when they saw him with a long gun on the AGR roof at 6:09 p.m.

They sent 102 radio transmissions about the growing threat. The Secret Service received almost NON OF IT.

Because they refused to set up a joint communications room with local law enforcement, they were in a completely separate room 257 yards away. Totally separate information silos.

Multiple Secret Service agents protecting Trump said that if they had been told about the armed man on the roof, they would have delayed Trump’s speech or pulled him off the stage immediately.

Because of this communication failure, Trump stayed on stage until the shooting started.

New DHS Report shows the Secret Service HID Classified Threat Intelligence From Its Own Field Agents about a “Long Distance” Threat — Leading to Too Few Protectors at the Rally

Days before the rally, the Secret Service received classified intelligence warning of a long-distance threat to Trump.

Top protective division leaders were briefed on it. But they NEVER shared that critical information with the Pittsburgh field office, the lead agents planning the event, or the counter-sniper teams on site.

The Pittsburgh field office boss later said that if they had known, they would have requested extra counter-surveillance teams specifically for the AGR building complex — the exact spot Crooks used. (Should have been there anyway..)

The intel was kept in a deliberately small circle, and because of that, the rally was under-protected. The Secret Service assigned counter-snipers because of the threat, but failed to add the extra manpower that could have covered the vulnerable areas around the stage.

New DHS Report: The Secret Service Failed to Secure AGR Roof Crooks Used – Despite KNOWING State Police Left It Exposed

The DHS Office of Inspector General found that Pennsylvania State Police sent their operations plan on July 12, 2024. It clearly showed they would NOT secure the AGR complex or block access from nearby roads.

Secret Service lead and site agents reviewed the plan but gave ZERO feedback for concern. They didn’t ask for changes or even request a copy of Butler ESU’s (Emergency Services Unit) sniper instructions.

As a result, absolutely NO ONE was positioned to stop people from reaching the AGR buildings. Local snipers were only told to watch inside the main perimeter.

Secret Service agents later admitted various excuses:
“Not in my chain of command”
“I was too busy”
“Feedback wasn’t mandatory”
One agent said she “assumed” there was a reason for the decision and didn’t push back.

Bottom line: They put President Trump directly in a KILL BOX.

UPDATE: Thomas Crooks —Unbelievable!

New DHS Report shows Secret Service agents tried to move Trucks to obstruct the Line of Sight from the AGR Building, but Trump’s Campaign staff rejected the idea because the trucks would be “too close to President Trump’s press shot.”

An alternative spot was agreed to, but the agent never told her bosses that the original (better) request had been turned down and the AGR roof view was still WIDE OPEN.
