The state of Massachusetts has sparked fury for releasing migrants accused of horrific crimes and refusing to keep them detained for immigration authorities.

The sanctuary state allowed illegal immigrants accused of crimes ranging from child rape to drug trafficking to walk free in an act of defiance against Donald Trump's executive orders.

Trump's border czar Tom Homan revealed last month he counted 'nine child rapists that were in jail in Massachusetts' who were released before ICE could detain them.

In Massachusetts, along with other sanctuary states across the nation, authorities are not permitted to let Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials know when a prisoner who is illegally in America is being released from custody.

Trump's executive order stated federal funding could not be used to facilitate any sanctuary policies that would 'seek to shield illegal aliens from deportation.'
