Now Trump posts an official statement from Iran, confirming that they agreed to the terms of the two week ceasefire, to cease their operations and allow safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz, once attacks against Iran are halted.

Trump’s pressure campaign worked.

He forced the Iranians onto a timeline, and they were forced to fold before the deadline arrived. Deadlines spur action.
