New Mexico's Epstein investigation was quietly closed in 2019 — at the request of federal prosecutors in New York.
This week a bipartisan commission reopened it with subpoena power, aiming 14 subpoenas at the FBI, Deutsche Bank, JPMorgan, and the Santa Fe Institute.
