UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer is reportedly set to RESIGN Monday and lay out an orderly exit from 10 Downing Street, according to The Observer, though a senior government figure told Reuters he remains focused on the job and isn't stepping down.

The reports follow rival Andy Burnham's special-election win in Greater Manchester, with Burnham said to have the backing of over half of Labour MPs to mount a leadership challenge.

The two are expected to meet next week.
